Re: CenCal Select Personal Auto Program
New Program Announcement from CenCal
CenCal is proud to introduce Alliance United Insurance Company, our newest California private passenger non-standard auto liability and physical damage program. The “CenCal Alliance Select” program will become available for use effective August 16, 2010.
Underwriting manuals are available on our website, www.cencalins.com. Log in and select Downloadable Documents. Print ready copies are available. Please take time to review the underwriting guidelines with your entire staff.
The Alliance United program is filed as an affinity product, which requires membership to the Auto Knight Motor Club. The motor club membership is included with each policy and provides valuable membership privileges; including toll free radio dispatched towing and roadside assistance.
The CenCal Alliance Select program offers:
- Semi-annual and annual term policies with monthly/quarterly payment plans
- Low down payments; only one month’s premium plus fees to start policy
- 12% commission
- Foreign/Mexico License/Matricula I.D. accepted
- Policies issued at the point-of-sale
- Insured EFT available with low monthly service fee
- FSC Company numbers 823 & 824 (available 8/16/10)
UNDERWRITING
1. All applications must be transmitted electronically using our CenCal Interactive System. Our recently enhanced point of sale system is fast and easy to navigate. In just minutes, you can quote, bridge and request the policy be issued from the convenience of your desktop computer. You maintain the records and we sweep the down payment from your trust account. We require you send a copy of the signed application immediately after policy issuance. You can either:
A) email a PDF file containing the signed application to info@cencalins.com
or
B) fax the signed application to 925-275-0680.
2. MVR’s for all operators are ordered as part of the point of sale process.
3. SR-22’s will only be issued electronically at the point of sale. Any Financial
Responsibility Filing requested during the policy term will be issued by our office.
4. When photos are required, they must be sent to CenCal by fax at 925-275-0680 or by
email at info@cencalins.com immediately upon acceptance of risk. Do not complete
the new business process without first inspecting the vehicle and taking photos.
5. Questionnaire required on all risks rated with less than 7,500 annual miles.
6. For acceptable risks, policies issued at the point of sale. Producer is required to deliver
to the insured policy documents including: Dec Page, I.D. Cards, Policy Jacket, etc.
7. For your convenience, we have included an Alliance United Underwriting FAQ’s page for
your use as a quick reference guide.
Please refer to the underwriting guidelines for definitions regarding commercial risks. The Alliance United program is not a provider of commercial insurance coverage.
For commercial/artisan risks, please contact an underwriter from our commercial auto department for a quote.
CLAIMS
Immediately report all losses to Blackhawk Claims Service at 1-800-999-0107. Never attempt to adjust a claim regardless of fault or circumstance. All losses occurring during the first thirty days of policy inception are subject to an underwriting and claims audit.
IMPORTANT MESSAGE
Product Authorization Addendum
The enclosed Product Authorization Addendum for Alliance United Insurance Company must be completed and returned to our office prior to writing new business. Please mail or fax (925-275-0680) the completed copy to the attention of the Marketing Department.
